Much awaited hybrid Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 is powering 3X powerful e-motor, limited to112 units

Lamborghini Countach is a limited edition vehicle, producing only 112 of the Countach LPI 800-4.
Available in sales by the beginning of the next year.

The Countach LPI 800-4 is powered with a V12 6.5 liter engine together with a 48-volt e-motor.

Lamborghini has finally put an end to all anticipation of the much-awaited Countach LPI 800-4 hybrid car.

Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 powered by a V12 engine and made the Countach by using its hybrid supercapacitor technology.

The V12 will generate a power of 769 hp and together with an electric motor produce the power up to 803 hp. It is designed with a 7 speed gearbox.

The brand claims that the e-motor is powered with a supercapacitor producing three times extra power compared to a lithium-ion battery of the same weight.

Lamborghini claims that the car can sprint to a speed of 96 kmph in 2.8 seconds and can touch almost 200 kmph in just 8.6 seconds making it the fastest Countach ever.

Lamborghini Sian and new countach sharing some specific similar look. The scalloped roof and the hexagon taillights are similar to Sian’s design.

The hybrid car is built in four-strong exhaust tailpipes. The new Countach has 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch rear wheels that are designed in the ‘telephone’ style of the 1980s.

These wheels were built with carbon-ceramic brake discs. The interior of the modern Countach is designed in retro style that cues from the original model.

Crafted with luxurious leather with geometric stitching on the seats and the dashboard.

Also featuring an 8.4 inch HDMI centre touchscreen, user accesses car controls including Connectivity and Apple CarPlay.

The engineering team that developed the original Countach pushed the company’s technical approach to deliver unexpected innovations and the best performance available in a production car.

Says the Lamborghini chief technology officer Maurizio Reggiani.

“That spirit inherently drives Lamborghini R&D, resulting in the pioneering hybrid technology in the LPI 800-4, and the emotive driving experience and top-line performance expected from a flagship V12 Lamborghini,” he adds.

Lamborghini plans to produce only 112 units of the Countach LPI 800-4,and sale will be in the beginning of the 2022.

Owners can choose from a variety of heritage exterior colors which consist of solid colors. Modern metallic range color option are also available for the customers.
