Mercedes revealed the launch of their upcoming all-electric SUV version of the EQS along with its Maybach version during a digital conference.
Mercedes, the German carmakers also revealed their plans to go electric-only in the next nine years.
Britta Seeger, one of the members of the Board of Management at Daimler AG and from the wings of marketing and sales of Mercedes-Benz cars, said, “What applies to the Mercedes portfolio also applies to our incredibly strong sub brands: we want to go electric. So, you can look forward to a top-notch, EQS SUV version of Mercedes-Maybach, for example.”
Mercedes-Benz published their first official teaser image for the upcoming Maybach EQS SUV. The upcoming model might build on the German carmaker’s EVA platform.
Mileage is expected to be 770 kms of range in a single charge.
Maybach EQS will be painted in a dual-tone exterior color that is familiar among the majority of the Maybach models. It is likely to built in a large grille, along with huge headlights.
The 90kWh and 108kWh batteries are enough for charging the car by up to 300 kms within 15 minutes by using a 200kW quick charger.
All new EQS electric SUV is powered by two set of battery packs might get up to 643 kms with in one time charge.
Maybach EQS might look different than other sedan in order to look more stunning they will add some minor changes in its interior and exteriors.
Mercedes MBUX might have a ‘Hyperscreen’ infotainment system.
The Mercedes EQS SUV will be officially revealed in 2022 and will be available in the market by the later half of the year.
